Viridor boosts revenues in first six months of 2011/12

British waste management firm Viridor increased its revenues by 9.9 per cent to £399.2m in the first half of the financial year 2011/12, the company announced on Thursday. Viridor's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) also climbed to £58.4m. Last week, the British firm had acquired JWS Churngold Limited, a waste logistics and transport company, for £14.25m.
