French recovered paper prices slide further in December
21.12.2011 −
The price decline on the French recovered paper market continued well into December. Recovered paper converters in France were often still holding back with their orders. In some cases, this was because they were not very busy, but also because they did not expect their business to pick up significantly in the near future. For deink-ing grades especially there was said to be a build-up of material. The inventory levels of brown grades were reportedly no longer particularly high. In this segment, most of the incoming goods could be moved out again without any problem, merchants said.
