German recovered paper prices continue to fall in October

Prices on the German recovered paper market declined once again in October, and most industry insiders expect a further drop by the end of the year. Nevertheless, market participants remain calm and are not drawing any parallels to the crisis in autumn 2008, noting that the eco-nomic situation does not justify such a compari-son. Falling prices were reported this month for all recovered paper grades except white news-print/magazine paper.
