German waste plastics prices fall in November
Plastic scrap was available at much cheaper prices for the most part in Germany during November. According to EUWID's latest market report, the combination of dwindling prices for many types of primary plastics in recent months and many plastic converters' inventory reductions meant that waste plastics could often only be sold with price concessions. Market insiders often cited surplus supply, which sometimes manifested itself in extremely low primary plastics prices, as the reason for this downturn. Compared to the previous month, the prices of virtually all types of plastic scrap fell by €20-50 per tonne in November
