Less tension on German waste wood market

03.11.2011 −

Waste wood processors and, above all, biomass power plant operators are entering the winter in a much more relaxed mood than last year in Germany. Power plants have adequate iinventories, and processors also reported they had “decent amounts” of waste wood on stock, according to the latest EUWID market report. At the end of October, prices of the three main categories of waste wood chips and pre-crushed waste wood had remained largely on the same level as three months before.
