Polish recovered paper prices decrease amid weak demand
14.12.2011 −
Weak demand in Poland and its neighbouring countries sparked price cuts on the Polish recovered paper market in the fourth quarter. Paper mills’ warehouses were still so well stocked that even a minor rise in demand for corrugated case material had not brought relief, either. Slow business for mills consuming sorted graphic paper for deinking meant that prices of these grades fell especially sharply. EUWID respondents suspect that recovered paper prices will continue to slide until at least the end of this year.
