Lower grades' prices soften on French recovered paper market

Prices for ordinary recovered paper grades have yielded in June on the French recovered paper market, amid a slowdown in exports and pressure on domestic paper mills' margins. EUWID sources agreed that collection volumes had been very low in May and were far from returning to the level seen before the economic crisis in June, as well.

The EU member states are to use the amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) which is generated as basis for calculating their collection rate.
