FCC Medio Ambiente, the waste management and environmental services arm of Spanish conglomerate FCC, reported a significant increase in revenues in 2024. Growth was driven by acquisitions and new contracts in the United States and Europe. However, earnings were impacted by increased provisions and impairments.
The revenues of the environment unit reached €4.346bn in the year ended 31 December 2024, an increase by close to 13 per cent compared to 2023.
