The AGR Group will be discontinuing hazardous waste treatment operations at its waste-to-energy plant in Herten as of 31 December 2028. Following a recommendation from company management, the company’s supervisory board has made a decision to shut down both hazardous waste incineration lines, along with the interim storage facility for hazardous waste.
