Germany's graphic paper value chain once again exceeded the recovery target agreed under a voluntary commitment to the federal government, according to the German Working Group for Graphic Papers (Agrapa). At this year's meeting of the industry initiative's recovered paper council (Altpapierrat) in mid-June, Agrapa reported a recycling rate of 85.9 per cent for graphic papers in 2025, the latest reporting year, well above the agreed target of 80 per cent.
