Industry associations FEAD, Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE) and Recycling Europe issued a joint call on Monday urging the European Commission to prioritise "European-made recycled plastics" in the implementation of mandatory recycled-content targets. These materials would include recyclates produced in the EU and the European Free Trade Area (EFTA), but also those produced in the UK.
