Dutch waste-to-energy (wte) plant operator Attero is renewing its call for government action on discarded laughing gas canisters after a recent "near miss" at its wte plant in Wijster. On 14 October, a nitrous oxide cylinder undergoing pre-incineration shredding "flew across the bunker hall and shot through the roof, piercing the cladding, insulation and roofing membrane", the company reported. No employees were injured....
