The investment firm Energy Capital Partners (ECP) is prepared to pay a price of £4.10 per share for Biffa, the UK's second largest waste management company. According to a joint statement issued by the companies on Tuesday, the acquisition price, together with the final dividend to be paid to shareholders, would value Biffa's ordinary share capital at around £1.3bn.
