Paul Sanderson will will step down as CEO of The Recycling Association (TRA) in August to take up the role of chief executive at the UK Cleaning Products Industry Association.
The British industry body has begun the search for a successor, with applications open until 24 April.
Mr Sanderson commented: “I’ve really enjoyed my three years at the helm of The Recycling Association, working with great members, those who serve on the governing council and the wider industry. I am proud of what has been achieved on that time on behalf of our members, and growing our membership from 110 when I joined to almost 170 now. But I am now going to take an opportunity to work with the UK Cleaning Products Industry Association and a change of emphasis working with companies producing household and industrial cleaning products."
Founded in 1975, The Recycling Association represents recycling organisations and waste management companies across the UK.
