The Confederation of the European Paper Industry (Cepi) has issued a response to the European Commission’s legislative proposal for packaging and packaging waste. The Commission intends to replace the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive with a Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. Among the key goals of the new legislation is reducing the amount of packaging waste generated.
