Chemicals group Eastman announced on Wednesday that it is to be supplied with 30,000 tonnes a year of post-consumer plastic packaging waste deemed unsuitable for mechanical recycling by PET recycler Dentis group. Under a long-term agreement with Dentis subsidiary Nord Pal Plast, rejected PET waste is to be sent from the group's sites in in France (Nord Pal Plast SA), Spain (PET Compania Para Su Reciclado) and Italy (Dentis Recycling Italy Srl) to Eastman's planned "molecular recycling facility", which is slated to go online in Port-Jérôme-sur-Seine, Normandy in 2026....
