The Austrian packaging manufacturer Coveris has created a new business unit known as ReCover to deliver on its "No Waste" vision. Operating as an independent entity, ReCover is to supply the group’s sites and third-party customers with recycled plastic. As part of its sustainability strategy, Coveris had set itself a goal of preventing waste in all its forms. Expanding its recycling capacity and capabilities was the next logical step, the firm announced in early December. The new unit had now founded its first independent entity and was officially up and running after acquiring a site and assets from the recycler Capital Valley Plastics (CVP) in Blaenavon, Wales, Coveris noted. The company described CVP as a polyethene recycler performing mechanical recycling of post-consumer and post-industrial waste, mostly turning it into building films. ...
