The plastic manufacturer Covestro and China’s leading automotive lighting producer Hasco Vision are teaming up to work on plastic recycling. Together, they aim to reclaim polycarbonate scrap generated in the lighting component manufacturing process that can be recycled and used to produce new automotive parts. The companies plan to build a closed-loop recycling business model guaranteeing that plastics recycled from the manufacturing of headlamps are of high quality and traceable, Covestro stated....
