Urbaser's waste management business in Northern Europe is to be sold to Cube Infrastructure Managers. The Spanish environmental services company announced on Tuesday that the fund managers had agreed to purchase 100 per cent of its business in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The estimated enterprise value of the transaction is €390m and the deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2023, subject to the customary conditions, according to Urbaser. Cube's previous investments in the waste management sector include the acquisition of MVV's activities in the Czech Republic and of a majority holding in the French company Sepur, which like Urbaser's Nordic business focuses on municipal waste collection....
