Danish recycling firm Rimeco Aktieselskab has sold its ferrous scrap business in the port of Kolding to HJHansen Recycling Group for an undisclosed sum. Following the divestment, Rimeco plans to concentrate on processing metal, electronic and cable scrap at its site in Aabenraa, according to managing director Klaus Peter Riggelsen. “We have chosen to sell off the ferrous scrap collection and shipping activities because we can see that the industry is consolidating. We already have a long-standing and good collaboration with HJHansen Recycling Group, and we consider it only natural to pass on what we have built up in Kolding to them,” Mr Riggelsen commented....
