The energy company Eon is to build a new waste-to-energy and combined heat and power plant at DS Smith's Aschaffenburg paper mill in Germany. The new co-incineration facility will use rejects and other waste from paper manufacturing at the site to generate electricity and heat, Eon said in a press release. The company's subsidiary Sustainable Energy Aschaffenburg (SEA) is also to operate the new power plant, which is slated for completion in the second half of 2025. ...
