British waste management company Andusia has agreed to supply 1 million tonnes of high calorific value refuse-derived fuels (RDF) to the waste to energy plant operator EEW over a five-year period. Under a recently signed contract, Andusia is to supply around 200,000 tonnes of RDF per year to six EEW plants in Germany beginning in January 2023. The facilities that will process the material include the energy from waste plants in Helmstedt, Knapsack, Stapelfeld, Premnitz, Schwedt and Neunkirchen. The new cooperation builds on an existing contract covering deliveries to EEW's energy from waste (EfW) plant in Delfzijl, the Netherlands, Andusia said....
