Thanks to higher raw materials prices, stainless steel recycler ELG Haniel closed the first half of 2011 with a 10 per cent increase in revenues. Although the stainless steel market was in good shape at the beginning of the year, the market climate changed in the middle of the second quarter, diversified parent group Franz Haniel & Cie said in its half-year report published today.
