Germany's Green Dot company (Der Grüne Punkt) named Eline Stiphout as its new head of Renewing, effective 1 May 2025. In her new role, Ms Stiphout assumes strategic and commercial responsibility for the group’s mechanical recycling activities. She will be reporting directly to chief executive Mark Vester. The new head of Renewing would also be working to develop the company's sites in Hörstel and Eisfeld, Germany, as well as the Green Dot's production facilities in Italy, the company said.
According to The Green Dot, Ms Stiphout brings extensive experience from senior roles across the plastics recycling chain, including as managing director of Stiphout Plastics, which filed for insolvency at the end of last year. "With Eline Stiphout, we have a well-known entrepreneur in plastic recycling who will further advance our mechanical recycling business with innovation and commercial excellence," said Mr Vester.
The company considers both its sites in Germany, where recyclates are produced under the Systalen brand name, and in Italy to be key pillars its recycling operations. Under new leadership, the commercial capacity of the facilities is to be optimised and the business improved. "The further development of our recycling sites is a decisive lever for greater resource protection and climate impact," said Ms Stiphout.
