Encyclis secures full ownership of two more wte assets, appoints new CEO

British waste-to-energy (wte) plant operator Encyclis is entering a new phase of its development with a leadership transition and strategic asset consolidation. Earlier this week, the company announced that it would purchase shares in two of its wte plants currently held by its joint venture partner, Biffa.

The British waste management company holds a 50 per cent stake in the Newhurst energy recovery facility (ERF), in Leicestershire, and a 25 per cent stake in the Protos Energy Recovery Facility, in Cheshire. The transaction would give Encyclis full ownership of both plants....
