Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) plans to build a treatment plant for scrap tyres in western Sweden. The facility, which would use pyrolysis to process more than 60 per cent of the country's end- of- life tyre (ELT) arisings, had been granted an environmental permit, Enviro announced on Tuesday. The company is not yet fully committed to the project and the final decision to build the facility in the Uddevalla municipality would depend on a number of factors, such as securing access to end-of-life tyres and agreements covering deliveries of recovered materials, Enviro explained....
