Amendments to the planned EU End-of-Life Vehicles Regulation (ELVR) supported by the European Parliament will not be enough to deliver a genuine circular economy in the automotive sector, the European Recycling Industries’ Confederation (EuRIC) has warned. "By watering down the concrete measures aimed at increasing circularity, such as the plastic recycled content target, the Parliament’s approach risks missing the mark and weakening Europe’s competitiveness," the umbrella organisation said in an initial response to Tuesday's plenary vote....
