Luca Galimberti heads up The Green Dot's new Italian subsidiary.

Green Dot Global Sàrl, the international group behind Germany's Der Grüne Punkt packaging waste take-back system, is strengthening its presence in southern Europe. The company has set up Green Dot Italy S.p.A., which is to lead its national activities in the country. Luca Galimberti has been appointed managing director.

With this step, the group is expanding its presence in the Italian plastics recycling market. In 2023, Green Dot subsidiary Duales System Deutschland (DSD) acquired the sorting and recycling facilities of Italian company Synextra....
