Dutch waste management company Twence Holding B.V. has reported a solid financial performance for 2024. Turnover increased by nearly 8 per cent year on year to €145.6m on higher energy sales. Operating income grew by just over 50 per cent to reach €21.4m. Net earnings also rose, jumping by nearly 52 per cent from €9.5m in 2023 to €14.4m in the most recent reporting year.
Last year the company completed a large-scale CO2 capture installation at its waste-to-energy plant in Hengelo. It also saw tentative progress in efforts to deepen its cooperation with the German city of Münster, while at the same time dealing with increased numbers of laughing gas canisters in the waste stream....
