HZI broadens carbon capture technology portfolio

Swiss-Japanese plant engineering and construction company Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) will be able to offer a new CO2 separation solution along with waste to energy (wte) technology following the conclusion of a new technology agreement. The company announced in February that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Norwegian technology provider CO2 Capsol to implement a hot potassium carbonate CO2 separation process for wte plants. For HZI, this is will be the third CO2 capture technology in its portfolio.
