Indaver plans to build a waste to energy (wte) plant in England. According to a statement issued on 26 February, the Belgian waste management company has entered an agreement with project developer Low Carbon Ltd. under which it secured exclusive rights to acquire the Medway Energy Centre project. The future wte plant, where Indaver expects to process up to 500,000 tonnes of municipal waste annually, would be built on the site of the former Kingsnorth coal-fired power station on the Hoo Peninsula in south-east England....
