The company Infinite Loop Europe is planning to build a chemical recycling plant for PET waste at the Industrial Park Lausitz in Schwarzheide, Germany. According to the park’s operator, BASF InfraService & Solutions Lausitz GmbH, the joint venture intends to invest a "triple-digit million amount" in the project and create around 150 jobs.

No details have been disclosed regarding the planned capacity of the recycling facility or the timeline for the permitting processes....
