The British company Itero has raised €6m in investments to build a chemical recycling plant for plastic waste in the Netherlands. Roughly €5m of this sum will come from Infinity Recycling’s Circular Plastics Fund (CPF). The new plant is slated for commissioning in 2024.
Itero is planning to build a demonstration facility with an annual capacity of 27,000 tonnes of plastic waste in the Brightlands-Chemelot chemical park near Sittard-Geleen.
