Kanadevia Inova (KVI) has acquired the majority of assets belonging to the Danish company Babcock & Wilcox A/S. The Swiss plant engineering company said that the purchase would bolster its team in Denmark and boost support for customers across the Nordics and Europe. Babcock & Wilcox A/S is a subsidiary of U.S.-based Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. The value of the transaction was not divulged.
KVI, then still operating as Hitachi-Zosen Inova, had already purchased B&W's Danish aftermarket services and maintenance for wte and biomass-to-energy plants last year....
