One of Italy’s largest waste infrastructure projects has entered the construction phase, with work now under way on a new waste-to-energy (wte) plant near Rome. Swiss plant engineering company Kanadevia Inova said that work commenced on 14 May. The first waste deliveries are scheduled for autumn 2029.
