Germany’s Landbell AG, a compliance scheme operator for packaging and other types of waste, has taken a 25.1 per cent stake in German company Source One GmbH. Source One is owned by Kai Hoyer, who also heads up 23 Oaks Investment GmbH, which founded the joint venture Source One Plastics with plastics producer Lyondell-Basell. Source One Plastics is currently building a sorting and pre-treatment plant for waste plastics which will supply a considerable share of the input material for the planned chemical recycling facility at Lyondell-Basell’s site in Wesseling, Germany. No financial details were released about Landbell’s acquisition of the Source One stake....
