The specialty paper producer Lecta is planning to commission a new boiler that will run on refuse-derived fuel (RDF) at its mill in Condat, France, in 2024. The new boiler will generate steam, replacing an old unit running on natural gas, and meet around 50 per cent of the mill's steam needs. The investment would significantly cut the site’s energy costs and make Condat more competitive, Lecta noted....
