Metals recycling group Sims Limited reported a sharp increase in underlying earnings for the first half of its 2025/26 financial year, although statutory results were dragged into the red by hedge movements and asset impairments. For the six months ended 31 December 2025, group sales revenue rose 3.7 per cent year on year to AUD3.78bn (€2.25bn).
At the announcement of its half-yearly results on 17 February, the recycler discussed its plans to expand its SLS operations in Europe, including the signing of a 10-year lease on a 11,000 square metre facility in Ireland....
