The Spanish infrastructure company Sacyr has announced it will sell its waste management business Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales (VSM) to investor Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP). Sacyr said on Monday that it had accepted a formal bid offer for 100 per cent of VSM's shares from an investment fund managed by MSIP.
The company first announced plans last October to sell a 49 per cent stake in its services and water operations, but later decided to split the divestment process and sell VSM separately from its other services and non-core businesses....
