MVV selects Kanadevia Inova for UK EPC contract

Anybotics partnership, new contracts and acquisition announced in February

Swiss green-tech company Kanadevia Inova (KI) has been awarded the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for the Medworth Energy from Waste (EfW) combined heat and power plant by MVV Environment UK. This project, located near Wisbech in Cambridgeshire, marks KI's 22nd UK facility and its first collaboration with MVV.

The project had faced considerable local opposition and unusual hurdles in the permitting process. Planning consent documents were withdrawn after publication for several days pending "further clarification". The project was also one of ten caught in limbo when environmental permit decisions were temporarily suspended last spring.
