Paprec potentially interested in buying Sacyr subsidiary VSM

Last October, the Spanish infrastructure group Sacyr announced plans to sell a 49 per cent stake in its services and water operations to reduce its debt. The activities in question include its subsidiary Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales, which primarily provides waste collection, waste management and urban cleaning services.

Sacyr has decided to divide up the divestment process. VSM would be put up for sale in a process separate from the rest of its services activities, the group announced at the release of its 2022 financials at the end of last week. The "sale books" had been sent on 16 February, and non-binding offers could be submitted within a four-week period, according to Sacyr's analyst presentation. The company said that it plans to find an investor for at least 49 per cent of the shares in VSM....
