The British waste management company Reconomy has announced its acquisition of the Danish firm Combineering Group. The parties did not release any information about the value of the transaction in a press release issued last week. The companies did state that Combineering would continue to operate as a distinct brand within the Reconomy Group. The Danish company develops recycling and waste management solutions for a series of material streams. These include biodegradable waste, biomass, refuse-derived fuel (RDF) and secondary recovered fuel (SRF), by-products and residues from the farming and food industry along with mineral wastes, metal, waste plastic and textiles.
