Shell Chemicals Europe has agreed to purchase pyrolysis oil produced by the Italian waste management company Recupero Etico Sostenibile (RES) under a new multi-year supply and purchase agreement. The oil is to be produced at RES's plastic recycling plant, currently under construction at the company's Pettoranello del Molise hub. The contract with Shell is to begin in June 2026 and covers the entire output of the Pettoranello facility, RES announced in February.
