Organic waste treatment specialist Saria achieved turnover of €3.3bn in 2024, according to the group's recently released annual sustainability report. Sales revenues were thus down slightly from the €3.4bn the company had reported for the prior year, and down even more sharply from 2022's figure of €3.8bn.
Saria, a sister company of Germany's largest waste management company Remondis, did not include any absolute figures for its waste throughput for the 2024 year. Instead the company reported that up to 30 per cent of the fallen animals and up to 80 per cent of the biowaste it processed were valorised into organic fertilisers and biomass....
