The Suez Environnement group will now market its services under the Suez name in all 70 countries in which it operates. The concern, which until now used as many as 40 different brand names, among them Sita, Degrémont, Lyonnaise des Eaux, AGBAR, Aqualogy, United Water, Ondeo Industrial Solutions, presented its new trademark Thursday in Paris. The unification of its operations under a single brand name at the publication of its annual earnings for 2014.
According to the Thursday announcement, the concern's various trademarks are being subsumed in the single brand, Seuz Environnement. Sita Deutschland GmbH will reportedly be rebranded as Suez Environnement – Recycling and Waste Recovery Deutschland in the autumn. In the UK, the physical process of rebranding will be implemented over a period of around two years, however Suez' British waste management operations officially became the Recycling & Waste Recovery UK division of Suez Environnement effective 12 March, a company spokesman told EUWID.
