German recycling technology company Solar Materials has entered a partnership in which it will recycle end-of-life photovoltaic panels collected by Dutch e-waste specialist 2Recycle. Under the arrangement, 2Recycle will organise the collection and consolidation of decommissioned solar panels in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg before transporting them to Solar Materials’ recycling facility in Magdeburg, Germany. The companies said this week that the cooperation would begin with a pilot phase with the goal of establishing a long-term partnership for the Benelux region....
