Stena Recycling has signed an agreement under which it would acquire Finnish recycling business Encore Environmental Services (Encore Ympäristöpalvelut Oy). The transaction would approximately double Stena Recycling's business in the Finnish recycling sector and allow it to offer its customers a wider range of services, the subsidiary of the Swedish Stena Metall group explained.
Approval still had to be obtained from the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, and a decision was expected in early September, said Stena. The sales price was not divulged....
