The forestry and paper group Stora Enso has recently disclosed its plans for its Langerbrugge site in Belgium. The company is considering converting the site’s newsprint machine for the production of recycled corrugated case material. Stora Enso said it had started a feasibility study, which is expected to be finalised in the first half of 2023, for the conversion. In addition to the sourcing of input materials for recycled containerboard, the study will also assess the handling of different incoming recycling streams, including laminated grades such as beverage cartons....
