Water and waste services group Suez has invested in French start-up Purple Alternative Surface. Through the new strategic partnership, Suez intends to help Purple Alternative Surface expand its production of permeable paving solutions made from recycled plastic waste. The plastic paver company's slab production capacity is to be increased twenty-fold, bringing it to 200,000 m² per year, Suez said last week. In addition, the companies would collaborate on a wind turbine recycling project. The companies did not disclose the size of its investment....
