British company Cory has selected the technology it will use in the carbon capture and storage (CCS) facility it is developing at its Riverside 1 and Riverside 2 waste to energy (wte) plants in Southeast London. The company announced last week that it had entered a strategic partnership with the companies Shell Catalysts & Technologies and Technip Energies and that it planned to use Shell's Cansolv brand CO2 capture system at the future CCS facility. Cory underlined several benefits of Shell Catalysts' technology, namely its low operating cost, high capture rate, and adaptability to various gas flow rates and CO2 concentrations....
